Happy Belated New Year 2009 to all the readers of Brit-Asian Magazine, I hope you all had a brilliant time out partying, clubbing, shopping in the January sales and picking up bargains I just hope you all didn’t get too drunk or tipsy!

I would firstly like to apologise to all the readers as I have not had any time to update my blog’s but don’t worry I haven’t disappeared off earth just yet, nor have I ended my showbiz career, I am still alive and I am back now with a bang so you wont be able to get rid of me that easy hehe, and also a big thank you to everyone for the beautiful comments left under my blogs I appreciate it a lot, thanks for showering me with love. I have had a very busy past few months since my return from my trip to India and Dubai regarding the Bollywood Movie I was offered, all we be told later.

This year has pretty much been hectic for me, endless shows, modelling assignments and press/media work, photoshoots etc, I’ve hardly even had time to sleep let alone breathe, there’s been weeks when ive had to do 6 shows so ive practically been living on coffee and red bull which is a bad thing, but oh well it has to be done! We have to work hard to if we want to live a glam lifestyle, and I guess it has rewards, some of my biggest achievements since my return from India was landing on the front cover of Hindustan Times and HT City two times in one week also landing on the front pages of yahoo India, Msn India, Google India etc which really help increase my popularity.

The Hindustan times featured me on the front cover with the title ‘Don’t I look like Bipasha Basu’, the funny thing is Bipasha Basu actually saw the article and the next week she commented about me in Hindustan Times saying she admires the fact that I have gone out there to make my name and respects me, she also said it’s nice to know that I look up to her and idolise her. Well I guess that made both mine and her day, all I need is John Abraham now haha!

2008 was an amazing year for me, and definitely a big start in terms of where my mainstream showbiz career kicked off, I never knew in a span of two years since I first started out I would get where I am today and I truly thank god and my admirers for getting me where I am today, because without your love and support I wouldn’t be here, it’s funny how I once went from being a bullied boy with hardly no friends due to being ‘different’ to transforming into a stunning girl with a fanbase of millions worldwide.

Recently I had bumped into a few old class mates from my college days, who used to bully me for being ‘different’ when they saw me they couldn’t believe there eyes, they were so shocked that their jaw bones almost hit the floor literally, I guess I left them dazzled and dazed for a few moments after I told them who I am. After that it was all praises ‘oh my god your so stunning’, ‘you look so beautiful’, it’s strange how when you’re a nobody no one really gives a damn about you, but as soon as you make something of yourself they all want to be your friends, but I didn’t leave without a catfight!

I told them exactly how they made me feel back in the day, and why they singled me out and bullied me, one responded by saying ‘I did it for jokes because I found it funny when I heard you cried’, how sad! Grow up girlfriend, were in the 21st century not the 19th!, however sometimes revenge is sweet because I ended up becoming a more beautiful woman than any of those girls put together!

On that note I’d love to reveal my brand new sexy look for 2009. To keep going strong in the showbiz and entertainment industry reinvention is a big thing, take a look at the likes of Madonna she’s been in the industry 30years believe it or not but has re invented herself 100s of times to remain on top, and what a good job she did, cause she’s still known as the queen and ultimate diva of pop.

As ya’ll know I have just returned back from India and Dubai, which was amazing, I went to India to meet the directors of a Bollywood movie who had approached me with a role. I had a blast in India travelling, partying and living the ‘high life’.

I was also in Dubai for a few days where I did an amazing photoshoot on the beach, and partied till the early hours of the morning, not forgetting spending all my savings in those gorgeous shopping malls, oh how I wish I had a millionaire boyfriend, haha.

However when I returned I was shocked and saddened to hear of the terrorist attacks that struck India, my heart goes out to those who lost their loved ones and those who lost there lives.

Also I would like to pay respects to the stunning Sahar Daftary a 23 years old British Asian Supermodel, Former Miss Face of Asia 2007 winner and finalists at Miss Maya 2007, who allegedly commit suicide by jumping from the 12th floor of apartment blocks in Manchester after an argument with her already three times married husband. It it said that family and friends close to Sahar spoke out on her death stating that ‘Sahar would have never commit suicide, she had everything to live for and had the world at her feet’. Sahar was successful, young, talented, beautiful and famous sometime it makes you wonder the glitz and glamour lifestyle someone can take is toll, it’s a shame because many people don’t understand what these young individuals have to go through on a daily basis. R.I.P Sahar you will be missed by everyone.

On a different note I would like to congratulate my previous blog page cover girl Poonam Mehmi on winning the Miss India UK Worldwide 2009 pageant, Poonam has a winning streak like myself in pageants, she has just returned back from representing United Kingdom at the Miss India Worldwide contest in South Africa, check out my blogs in the coming weeks for an exclusive interview with the brand new gorgeous Miss India UK Worldwide 2009 winner coming your say soon.

Brit-Asian magazine this year promises to get bigger and better, with the 25 most hottest Brit-Asian babes and 25 most hottest Brit-Asian studs coming your way real soon, exclusive interviews with celebrity’s, Beauty Queens, and gorgeous desi models to tickle your taste buds.
