Diva Mariah Carey is expecting her first child according to The Sun newspaper.
The singer, 40, recently dropped out of a new film, fuelling rumours she and actor husband Nick Cannon were to become parents.
A friend said: "They are both very happy and very excited."
But Mariah's spokeswoman Cindi Berger refused to confirm or deny the news.
Mariah and Cannon, 29, married in 2008 and renewed their vows only weeks ago.
They spoke recently about wanting to become parents.
She also hinted at an awards bash: "Something else very special is on the way."
