News: Hard Kaur Returns To The UK For Debut Film Alongside Akshay Kumar!

Hard Kaur’s unprecedented rise to the top of the celebrity tree in Bollywoods tinsel town has been one of the biggest successes that any British Asian entertainer has seen this decade. From Birmingham to Bombay, she actively launched a colossal scale hip hop attack on Asian and introduced to the continent a new concept.

Indian media hailed her as the savior of the music scene with her sound being the biggest new musical concept Bappi Lahiri’s introduction to Disco.

The enfant terrible took her unique blend of British bubble gum hip hop, and brought to the forefront a sound that would launch her as a national hero in India. Having caused a furor in the run up to the finals in India’s version of ‘Dancing With The Stars’, Jhalak Dikhlaja, to having recently anchored the hit ‘IPL Rockstar’ series nationally, Hard Kaur has become an onscreen darling.

Her return to the UK is one that has had both media and fans perched eagerly on the edge of their seats. It will also be her first media appearance in almost 3 years as she sets in motion the release of her next solo single from her up coming album. She is in the UK for a period of 4 weeks while she shoots for her acting debut alongside Akshay Kumar, Dimple Kapadia and Rishi Kapoor in a new movie ‘Patiala House’ in which she plays Akshay’s sister.

Her new single will feature American Hip Hop heavyweights D12 and release summer 2010.
