The last decade brought us most notably the the Apple iphone and High Definition, both via Blu Ray and Sky formats, what has the next era of technological development to offer us?

As Apple continually revolutionise the market, it will do so again within the next coming weeks, with the introduction of the iSlate, a tablet formed mini computer, dubbed a iPhone on steroids, but more than likely a much more capable product. The Amazon and Sony Kindle readers are expected to suffer, as the industry giant takesover. This new creation will be announced at next weeks conference held in California

An iphone 4.0 software update is also expected, with a new iphone slated for introduction in April. With competitors such as Palm and Google ever increasing it’s growth on the mobile market, Apple still outsells each handset by quadruple the number of sales.
More technology to keep a look out for this year, will be HD-3D TV. Having made its way back into cinemas and IMAX, with most notably the Avatar release Sky will roll out its 3D channels later this year, which they have been developing for sometime now. As this revitalised technology is implemented in today’s more advanced mediums, it is still uncertain to whether consumers will be prepared to pay an additional premium for this service.
